Making Tax Digital, how was it for you?
If it was difficult, or worse, you didn't register even though you were meant to, we can help. HMRC will be targeting 'no shows' from September so get in touch now.

HMRC has introduced Making Tax Digital for Income Tax Self Assessment - MTD ITSA, for short - from April 2026 and it the biggest UK tax change in a decade.
What you need to know
- It affects all Self-Employed Sole Traders and Partnerships, and Landlords whose annual trading income is £50,000 or above and involves reporting your income and expenses to HMRC every quarter instead of once a year
If you don't need to enrol on Making Tax Digital
- Why not submit your Self Assessment early and beat the rush? It also makes January a little more bearable.
- And don't forget, if you want to submit your Self Assessment on paper, the deadline is 31st of October.
